Experienced Financial Controller or accountant looking to take the next exciting step in their career.

Optional hybrid working: 3 days working from office & 2 days from home

In this pivotal role you will report into the Finance Director and together you will build a finance team of excellence and be integralin expanding the business across the UK, USA, Australia and Spain.

You will work to implement new and improved financial controls, procedures, systems, processes and ensure effective and efficient reporting is being delivered.

Together with the Finance Director you will support, manage and develop a team of 10.

This opportunity will suit an experienced Financial Controller or Accountant looking to take the next exciting step in their career.

You can be a either a qualified accountant, part qualified or qualified by experience.

Job Responsibilities:

Setting and analysing of budgets:


  • Monthly forecast
  • Quarterly forecasts
  • Annual budget process

Improve financial controls & procedures:


  • Variance analysis, understanding and rectifying
  • Process improvements; propose and implement
  • Ensure processes & procedures are being adopted

Management accounts creation & analysis:


  • Closing of month end accounts
  • P&L reporting
  • Cashflow reporting
  • Balance sheet maintenance & reports
  • Ensuring statutory compliance

Support with team management & training

The Person:


  • ACA / ACCA / CIMA Qualified or Part Qualified or QBE (Qualified by experience)
  • Sage ERP experience desirable (not essential)
  • Strong technical skills
  • Commercial outlook with energy & passion
  • Strong Excel skills
  • Ability to build strong working relationships across all management levels
**Salary £60,000-£65,000 + company healthcare & life assurance
