Responsibilities:
Role Purpose:
As a Continuous Improvement Practitioner within the MISL Continuous Improvement team, part of Markerstudy Insurance Services, you will be working in an exciting, diverse and changeable environment.
You will be a valued member of the team and expected to identify and contribute to lean improvement activities focusing on quality, efficiency, cost and customer satisfaction.
Main Responsibilities:
- Contributing to the team on the Diagnosis, Design and Implementation of new ways of working in collaboration with other CI Practitioners, SME's and Analysts.
- Facilitating the development and implementation of new and innovative ways of working.
- Working closely with the wider CI team to build an "insight and evidence" led culture to support an ongoing programme of change.
- Actively monitoring project risks to foresee/identify potential problems and proactively identify solutions.
- Developing productive working relationships with stakeholders, colleagues and suppliers.
- Communicating the progress of CI initiatives to key business stakeholders and project sponsors.
- Travel may be required as appropriate in your role.
Qualifications:
Key Competences
- An analytical mind with a logical, creative and practical approach to structuring and solving complex problems.
- Demonstrable ability to develop & utilise large quantities of data to identify trends and take appropriate action to enhance performance.
- Strong focus on Planning, Analysis and Delivery.
- Ability to communicate complex problems and analysis with a variety of stakeholders.
- Proven relationship management capabilities with the ability to challenge and influence stakeholders where necessary.
- Ability to work within tight deadlines and manage conflicting demands.
Skills & Experience:
- Professional qualifications in Continuous Improvement / Lean / Six Sigma are essential
- Minimum of 24 years experience delivering change as a CI professional, ideally within Insurance or Financial Services.
- High levels of communication both written and oral.
- Advanced MS Office skills with a focus on Excel & PowerPoint.
- Flexible attitude to work with an overall desire to deliver results.
