APEX Body Solutions is an exciting new business, brought to you by renowned multi-franchise and award-winning commercial dealer group, Rygor Commercials.

APEX is a new commercial vehicle bodybuilding company, producing fabricated and welded commercial vehicle bodies. APEX's specialty will be dropsides, flatbed, tipper and crane bodies, ranging from 3.5t to 32t.

APEX is equipped with its own NC steel processing equipment and will produce products already established in the UK whilst constantly innovating new products ready to add to the portfolio as the company grows.

Whilst APEX Body Solutions is an exciting, _new_ entrant to the UK bodybuilding industry, it has the resilience and high standing of our parent company, Rygor Group, supporting the business.


Rygor Group is comprised of award-winning Rygor Commercials - a full-service solutions provider - APEX Body Solutions, Apex Van Solutions and Rygor Leisure.

The commercial vehicle arm of the Group offers customers the ease, practicality, and efficiency of dealing with one, expert group, which can take them from vehicle purchase or hire, through to financing, body building, and providing exemplary aftersales care.


Your Role


We are looking for a dedicated and knowledgeable Pre-Assembly Operator who is passionate about engaging with the APEX values and setting standards for customers.


Day to day you will be:

  • Working independently and on own initiative to set timelines and standards
  • Reading engineering and fabrication drawings provided and work from own initiative.
  • Creating components from sheet and profile products per engineering drawings
  • Programming and operating highdefinition Plasma cutters; table size 6m x 2m
  • Safely using a press brake machine: 5m, 200 tonnes
  • Using the Bandsaw, Drilling equipment and deburring equipment
  • Ensuring standards of good housekeeping are achieved in all work areas, including workshops, vehicles and at on site locations.
  • Unloading deliveries and storing in correct locations
  • Carry out any other reasonable projects, tasks or duties to support the business as directed by management.
  • Compliance with company H&S, maintenance procedures & quality control to work safely without presenting a direct threat to self or others
  • Ensure good personal time keeping and conduct in line with agreed policies and procedures.
  • Carry out duties with minimum supervision using own initiative to plan and prioritise workload within set timescales.
  • Ensure all safety, regulatory, rule and Company changes/alterations to working practises are adhered to
