our property management company is seeking a skilled and versatile General Maintenance Handyman to join our team.As a handyman, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation and upkeep of our properties by handling various maintenance tasks across different areas.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct general maintenance tasks
- Handle carpentry tasks, including repairing or installing doors, windows, cabinets, and other wooden structures.
- Paint and touchup surfaces as needed to maintain the aesthetics of the properties.
- Assist with landscaping and outdoor maintenance tasks.
- Collaborate with other professionals, contractors, and vendors to coordinate and oversee specialized maintenance or repair projects.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work order details and materials used.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment.
Requirements:
- Demonstrated experience in general maintenance or a similar role, with a broad knowledge of multiple aspects of property maintenance.
- Proficiency in handling various maintenance tasks, including plumbing, Bathroom fitting, Kitchen fitting, carpentry, painting, and landscaping.
- Possession of a valid driving license and own transportation to travel to and from job sites.
- Strong problemsolving skills and ability to troubleshoot and resolve maintenance issues efficiently.
- Attention to detail and ability to deliver highquality workmanship.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to engage with tenants, team members, and external contractors.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing work environments and tasks.
- Physical fitness and ability to perform manual labor and lift heavy objects as required.
- Knowledge of relevant health and safety regulations and practices.

£25,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
