Retail Store Sales Assistant

Main Duties - Selling and Stock
To achieve maximum sales across all product lines

Receiving, unpacking and arranging new shipments from suppliers and vendors

Arranging and labelling goods in the display shelves

Assisting customers in finding the products they're looking for

Processing customer payments at the checkout point/till

Addressing customer complaints and inquiries

Demonstrate good product knowledge by providing accurate product information and recommendations to customers

Cleaning and rearranging the store as required

Collaborating with other team members to keep the sales floor area clean and organised at all times.


Systems
To accurately record sales in the cash register in accordance with company procedures and policy.

To be fully aware of store security procedures and help protect the interests of the company.


General
To maintain a high standard of self presentation at all times.

To comply with store dress code at all times.

To maintain a good attendance and punctuality record at all times

To carry out reasonable management requests to ensure smooth and efficient running of the store at all times.

To comply with all store rules and regulations.


Health and Safety
To follow all Health and Safety procedures including signing relevant Health and Safety checklists and documents.

To inform management of any potential Health and Safety risks as they arise.


Brand Values
Demonstrate a clear understanding of the company's brand values.

Promote the brand values internally and externally at all times.


Job Types:
Part-time, Permanent

Part-time hours: 12 per week

From £10.50 per hour
