JOB SPECIFICATION:

Lloyd & Jones Engineers Limited are an independent Industrial Distributor based in Bootle, Merseyside with 21 locations throughout the UK and we currently employ 230 personnel.

Post holder will need to be highly organised and able to show initiative when handling tasks. This role would be an excellent first step towards your career in HR and there will be opportunities to progress within Lloyd & Jones.

The position offers a fast paced and diverse role with key responsibilities to cover:

Supporting the HR Manager in administerial duties.

Attendance management including maintenance, staff support, reporting, and entering relevant attendance data.

Digital Maintenance of current and former employee records, and updating of profiles.

Liaise with payroll to provide starters, leavers, holiday, sickness and timesheet administration.

EDUCATION

GCSE English and Mathematics grade 5/B as minimum.

Degree in a relevant field preferred.

Experience using relevant IT software.

PACKAGE:

Competitive salary (£24,000 - £27,000).

Full time position - based in Bootle Head Quarters.

21 days annual leave rising to 25 days on length of service plus statutory bank holidays.

Hours of work are 08:00 to 17:00 Monday to Thursday, and 08:00 to 16:30 Friday with a 45-minute lunch break each day hour week).
