This is an established (permanent) post, 5 days a week, working in a key stage 2 class (in the first instance) term time only plus inset days (39 weeks).

Hours of working will be 8:45 am to 3:15 pm (27.5 hours).

General Teaching Assistant - Band C (SCP 2-4)

We are a successful school in a semi-rural setting, who have 'high expectations for all, by all', where pupils can aim to achieve their personal best within a safe, nurturing and engaging learning environment.

We are looking to appoint a committed, caring and enthusiastic teaching assistant who:

Is committed to safeguarding the children in our care and adheres to safeguarding policy and procedures
Has excellent communication skills
Has recent experience and knowledge of working with individuals and groups of children especially those with additional needs
Has a sense of humour
Has an ability to work as part of a team
Has an ability to be flexible and adaptable
Has a willingness to be part of the community of Hensall Primary School
Work with a highly reflective and genuinely supportive team
Have training to support professional development
Work with wellbehaved children who really want to learn
