We're currently looking for a Laboratory Quality Technician to work in our Central Laboratory on a n 8 month fixed term contract basis.
Accountabilities & activities:
- Provide information as required to meet the requirements of the quality system and any other key performance indicators.
- Assist with the internal auditing programme by supporting the process to ensure actions are documented and completed on time.
- Coordinate the updating, issue, retrieval and archive of controlled procedures and methods.
- Monitor the quality control processes for trends and report back to the Quality Team on the findings.
- Ensure that the databases used by the team are maintained, controlled and archived as required.
- Ensure that a Continued Professional Development portfolio is set up and maintained to demonstrate ongoing competency to meet regulatory requirements.

What does it take to be a Laboratory Quality Technician?
- Qualifications to A level standard
- Good IT and communication skills, Excel and Word
- A knowledge of statistics would be an advantage
- An interest in quality / working in quality
