Primrose Hospice provides exceptional care and support for people with life-limiting illnesses in the Redditch and Bromsgrove area.

This is an exciting time to join us as we look to adapt our services and provide care to more people than we ever have before.

The Supporter Care Administrator provides a crucial role within the Fundraising Team at Primrose Hospice.

Often the first point of contact for our supporters, you will be responsible for processing incoming donations, reconciling payments, and sending acknowledgements in a timely manner.

This is a varied role where you will help us to shape a robust stewardship journey for our supporters.

The Supporter Care Administrator will undertake the following duties.


Role purpose


Based within the Fundraising Team, you will be responsible for providing the best level of care to our supporters by processing all incoming donations and ensuring they are acknowledged in a timely manner.


You will help to grow the commitment and loyalty of our supporters by ensuring they feel appreciated and know the difference their support makes to those we care for.


Key responsibilities

  • Answer incoming phone calls and take messages where needed.
  • Act as the first point of contact for supporters, receiving incoming donations and processing promptly.
  • Work closely with the Finance Team to reconcile incoming payments.
  • Record all incoming donations to our CRM, Donorflex.
  • Extract and analyse reports from various external platforms including JustGiving and Enthuse, ensuring donations received are correct.
  • Ensure robust finance protocols are followed.
  • Ensure the database is kept up to date with supporter preferences ensuring compliance is maintained.
  • Assist the Fundraising Manager with supporting inmemory giving.
  • Assist, support and take part in all fundraising events and campaigns.
  • Ensure supporters have a positive experience in their engagement with Primrose Hospice.
  • Manage fundraising materials and stock levels.
  • Comply with the Fundraising Regulators Code of Practice for Fundraisers.
  • Develop a detailed understanding and knowledge of the work of Primrose and the wider fundraising landscape.

Education:
