The role
The difference our new Project Lead will make
As a Project Lead, you'll have a role that's out of the ordinary.
As improvement practitioners within the Warships Support Value Stream as part of the Transformation Programme, we seek to challenge current ways of working through modernising working practises, adopting innovative solutions and introducing technology to improve service delivery, whilst meeting the exciting challenge of supporting our customers in delivering high operational availability and capability against tightening financial constraints.
Day to day, you'll scope, assess, plan, execute, monitor, and report to Project Manager and senior management your assigned projects by delivering change and continuous improvement projects.
You will play a key part in creating and implementing change management strategies and plans to ensure project deliverables meet stated objectives on time and on budget.
The focus will include changes to business processes, systems and technology and changing behaviours and culture.At Babcock, we have a history of helping talent go far. With our track record of innovation, you'll continually develop your knowledge and expertise.

Essential experience
- Engineering/Business Degree level qualified or relevant experience.
- APM Project Management or relevant experience.
- Demonstrable evidence of seeking and implementing improvement within the business.
- Must have the ability to effectively communicate at all times to ensure the success of their projects.
- A track record of developing good working relationships with stakeholders.
