Axon Moore are working with a household name in Leeds to source a temporary solution for a key role within the business.

Working as part of a fast-paced business the role will provide cover for an internal secondment.

As Financial Accountant you will maintain an accurate reconciled nominal ledger, producing timely management reporting information to support the business and group.

You will also ensure that all balance sheets are fully reconciled on a monthly basis with reconciling items understood and resolved on a timely basis.

Duties as Financial Accountant:

Pulling together robust Financial accounts and related reports to deliver accurate information on a timely basis in line with both local and Group requirements
Perform monthend activities under tight reporting deadlines proactively identify process improvements to drive efficiency and accuracy of reporting
Produce accurate and insightful reconciliations and ensure that reconciling items are appropriately actioned and closed
Assist in the completion of the external audit work and internal delivery requests, producing informative analysis when required
Own and maintain the fixed asset register
Work collaboratively with colleagues in the wider finance team to support completion of key deliverables e.g. budget and reforecast process

We are looking for an experienced accountant, ideally fully or part-qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA accountant with excellent IT skills including Excel.

With the ability to analyse large volumes of data, you will be commercially aware, able to communicate and pickup the role quickly.
