Pay Rate:
From
£11.25 per hour weekdays to £12.25 per hour
weekends.


Shifts Available:
Permanent, full time - 45h/week (Working 5 over 7 days on a rotational shift pattern).


We are currently seeking a dedicated Kitchen Assistant to join our exceptional team at one of our purpose-built homes, where we provide specialised care to residents with a variety of complex conditions.

A nutritious meal is essential for our residents' health, which is why your role as a Kitchen Assistant is critical.

Duties & Responsibilities:


We are currently seeking a dedicated Kitchen Assistant to join our exceptional team at one of our purpose-built homes, where we provide specialised care to residents with a variety of complex conditions.

A nutritious meal is essential for our residents' health, which is why your role as a Kitchen Assistant is critical.

You will be a part of an ambitious, growing company with an outstanding team.

  • To assist with preparation of breakfast, lunch and supper.
  • Preparation of sandwiches, soup and evening menu which is nutritious, adequate, varied and presentable, taking into account the needs of all clients, their cultural background and dietary requirements.
  • To take an interest in menu planning and trial new dishes.
  • To assist chef in cooking lunches as and when required
  • To take pride in work and meet all quality standards
  • To at all times wear clean kitchen whites and keep hair covered, hands clean and nails trimmed.

The Kitchen Assistant is required to have the following attributes/ About You:

  • Kitchen Assistant experience (preferred)
  • Excellent verbal communication & listening skills
  • Valid Right to Work and DBS
