    We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide essential support to individuals in care homes and through home care services, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being. This role requires effective communication skills and the ability to follow care plans diligently. A commitment to enhancing the quality of life for our clients is paramount.

    Duties

    • Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, dressing, and meal preparation.
    • Implement and follow individual care plans tailored to each client's needs.
    • Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a positive environment.
    • Maintain accurate records of client progress and any changes in their condition.
    • Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
    • Drive clients to appointments or social activities as needed, ensuring their safety during transport.
    • Utilise IT systems for documentation and reporting purposes, ensuring all information is up-to-date and accurate.

    Qualifications

    • Previous experience in a care home or home care setting is advantageous but not essential.
    • Strong communication skills in English are required for effective interaction with clients and team members.
    • Basic IT skills for documentation and record-keeping are necessary.
    • A valid driving licence is preferred to facilitate client transportation.
    • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability in various situations.
