They are looking for an enthusiastic marketeer to join their organisation in the role of a full-time Marketing Assistant.

Reporting to the Marketing Manager and Content Manager, you will deliver marketing and communications activities in support of our companies' activities.

You will need to be motivated, well organised, have excellent communication skills, and to work to tight deadlines.


Key roles & Responsibilities:


  • Supporting the planning and delivery of tactical integrated marketing plans for both internal and external areas of the business, including working alongside external agencies to deliver content including digital communications, social media channels and videography.
  • Database management; updating current CRM systems, creating campaigns and reporting on the effectiveness of ongoing marketing communications.
  • Public relations; sustaining existing relationships with local publications and PR agencies.
  • Sales support; liaising with the sales team and assisting them with lead generation.
  • Website development and maintenance; Updating content on current websites and supporting the development of our new website. Responsible for the creation of marketing collateral including web graphics and adverts.
  • Event management; assisting with the planning, organisation and delivery of exhibitions and events.
  • Customer services; including administration support, customer contact, carrying out customer satisfaction surveys, compiling results and reports.
  • Liaising and networking with a range of stakeholders including customers, colleagues, suppliers (incl. agencies) and partner organisations.
  • Assisting in the achievement of brand positioning to agreed guidelines.
  • Key Sskills & Experience**:
The successful Marketing Assistant will meet the following desirable skill set:

  • Marketing or business degree with marketing module or previous experience in a marketing assistant role.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and marketing software.
  • Knowledge of CRM tools, Google AdWords, and online analytics.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent organisation skills with the ability to multitask and meet strict deadlines.
  • Numerical skills, including compiling and analysing data reports.
  • Ability to follow instructions and work independently on projects.
  • A passion for communicating through digital channels.
  • Creative skills, including writing, design, and basic video editing. Experience of design packages such as Adobe suite and InDesign would be advantageous.
  • A passion for sport, physical activity and the health benefits that it provides is desirable.
  • An interest in the health and wellbeing of children and young adults.
