This role is to start in February 2023; you will provide direct Executive Support to the most senior leaders within the council. Experience of 1:1 support is essential essential.

Minute taking skills and experience are essential for this role The purpose of the job is to provide a PA/Secretarial service to a senior officer or a group of senior officers. This will include maintaining diaries, organising meetings, taking minutes, producing and managing correspondence, general office duties such as filing, ordering and maintaining stationery, progress chasing. You will be expected to have good organisational skills and be able to use IT effectively in implementing tasks. "

Specific Role Requirements" - to give yourself the maximum chance of success please try and ensure your CV addresses the following essential criteria:

  • Substantial
    recent EA/Secretarial experience, preferably within a similar role and ideally within a public sector organisation
  • Good word processing skills of 60 wpm (minimum)
  • Proven ability to take and transcribe detailed and accurate meeting minutes.
  • Team Player
  • Good problem solving skills and ability to use initiative
  • Excellent Customer Service skills
  • Accuracy and attention to detail
  • Demonstrable experience of accurate and timely data input and data management
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal & written
  • Strong IT skills including Microsoft packages
