Vehicle Rental Assistant

(Livingston)
Due to continued growth, we have part time vacancies at our Livingston Branch.

This is a permanent position.

and would suit someone who can work 24 to 32 hrs per week, with an opportunity to increase these hours to a full-time position.

The main duties of the position are

Delivering a high-quality rental service to business and retail customers.

Maximise Fleet income and utilisation by controlling customer bookings and off hires in an efficient manner.

Ensuring that accurate and detailed 'check out' and 'check in' inspections are conducted on all vehicles leaving for, or returning from, hire or another branch to ensure that responsibility for damage can be finitely determined

Reviewing the appearance of the fleet to ensure each vehicle is hired is a clean, tidy, and fit for hire.

Through recording all hire bookings on Prohire ensure customers are invoiced accurately and timeously for all hires, insurance, fuel, fines, accident damages etc.

Assist Fleet Maintenance Department with Managing MOT test schedules and planned vehicle maintenance

Minimum requirements to apply:
Experience in a customer service or similar industry

Be able to work efficiently as part of a small team.

Full, Valid UK Driving License

Good written and verbal communication skills
