Structural Revit Technician

Manchester City Centre

£35,000 - £45,000

A very well-known, nationwide multi-disciplinary consultancy are looking for the right person to join their Manchester City Centre office and utilise their existing knowledge of structural engineering work in AutoCAD and Revit to provide a key technicalcontribution to the design teams.

The company have a UK-wide presence with 14 offices across the country and almost 800 staff across a number of disciplines including Civil & Structural, Mechanical and Electrical and Property & Surveying among others. You will be part of a ManchesterCivil & Structural team of 28 staff and a wider Manchester team of over 80 personnel in total.

Requirements:

A minimum of 5 years' relevant work experience,
Excellent written and verbal skills,
An HNC /equivalent in Construction and the Built Environment/Civil Engineering
Solid CAD skills (2D) up to latest AutoCAD version 3D is desirable but not essential.
Knowledge and experience in the use of Revit

Role and responsibilities of a Structural Revit Technician:

Development of engineering drawings and details in accordance with project brief
Preparation of models, drawings, calculations, written reports and specifications.
Assist in preparation of project programmes and technical documents such as risk assessments and specifications
Liaise with external design team members and contractors.
Contribute to inhouse BIM capability
