- Supporting production teams with First Article Inspections (FAI) and manufacturing process validation
- Making informed decisions on the acceptance or rejection of parts based on inspection results and defined criteria
- Inspecting incoming materials and components to ensure they meet specifications and purchase order requirements
- Reviewing and maintaining supplier documentation, including certificates of conformity, test reports, and material certifications
- Carrying out visual, dimensional, and functional inspections using appropriate tools and equipment
- Performing in-process and final inspections to confirm compliance with engineering drawings and quality standards
- Documenting inspection results and managing non-conformances through formal reporting
- Maintaining accurate and traceable quality records, including inspection reports, control plans, and deviation approvals
- Creating, reviewing, and updating inspection and quality control procedures in line with ISO 9001 requirements
- Working with suppliers to resolve quality issues and implement corrective and preventive actions
- Supporting internal and external audits by providing evidence of compliance
- Collaborating cross-functionally to ensure quality requirements are clearly understood and consistently met
- Contributing to root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives
- A degree or HNC/HND in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related discipline
- Proven experience in quality assurance or quality engineering within a manufacturing environment
- Strong knowledge of inspection techniques, measurement equipment, and quality standards
- Familiarity with ISO 9001, FAI, PPAP, and other recognised quality frameworks
- Excellent attention to detail, with strong documentation and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
