Oak is an independently owned restaurant in central Bath and is looking for an energetic and enthusiastic Kitchen Porter to join our small team.

We're looking for someone to work various shifts some of which may include:
weekday evenings, Friday and Saturday daytime as well as weekend evenings.

We are a dedicated and hugely enthusiastic team in which we aim to deliver a quality experience for our customers by providing delicious, seasonal and local food - with an eye for sustainability.

As a kitchen porter you will work as part of the kitchen team to ensure a safe, clean, tidy and eficient kitchen whilst you are on shift with main responsibilities including cleaning crockery, cutlery, floors, emptying waste, managing the cleaning schedule and maintaing health & safety and hygiene standards whilst having the ability to clearly communicate with the Head Chef.

12 years previous experience working in a similar role
Energy, passion, enthusiasm and compatability
Excellent personal hygiene with knowledge of good kitchen practices
Great time management and organisation
Has an eye for detail and good consistency
A good communicator, exceptionally friendly and inclusive, even after a long shift
Eligible to work in the UK
Fluent in English
