About the Role

Salary:
£37,600 - £56,400 + performance-related bonus + a range of other benefits to support your family, finances and wellbeing.

As Quality Advisor you will provide quality management expertise and project support to the Project Management and Business Unit teams to ensure project deliverables meet the Quality Requirements of SSE's project-based contracts.
The key responsibilities of the role are to:
- Ensure that all projects within the business unit operate in accordance with SSE's systems and project processes, including the Large Capital Project Services Governance Framework.
- Support the development, management and improvement of the Quality Management System (QMS) and establish systems and procedures which ensure consistent project quality plans for large capital project execution across the SSE Group.
- Assess the product specifications and project requirements while ensuring compliance with national and international standards.
- Define processes and procedures in conjunction with project staff and bring together staff of different disciplines and drive the group to formulate and agree comprehensive business procedures.
What do I need?
This position is ideal for someone who is self-motivated with the ability to work efficiently and effectively as part of a project team, and as an individual, with other functions and locations within UK & Europe.
- Relevant experience in the development and implementation of Quality Management Systems.
- An understanding of SSE's business and a good knowledge of construction and engineering activities.
- Good communication, presentation and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with people at various levels within the Company, and externally with the supply chain.

Large Capital Project Services (LCPS) is responsible for providing the Group Executive Committee and SSE's Business Unit Executive Committees with independent assurance services to help inform investment decisions and manage the performance of Large Capital Projects throughout their lifecycle to realise the benefits within the Project Business Case and the wider strategic Business objectives.
