Associate Research Scientist - Division of Digestive and Liver Diseases


This scientist is expected to complete a major manuscript in preparation that defines the role of a new neural pathway in the invasion and metastases of pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma.

The incumbent will also lead investigations of the role of the p38 kinase in the regeneration of intestinal stem cells following irradiation.

They will support the ongoing and future research efforts of our lab and provide mentorship to junior members of our lab, including early-state postdoctoral fellows.


Qualifications:

MD, PhD, or both.

3 years experience performing laboratory research related to the molecular and cellular mechanisms involved in the pathogenesis of pancreatic cancer, as well as intestinal biology.


Salary Range:
$70,000
-$77,000
