What is the role?


As part of Xpedite's substantial growth plans, we are looking for a Marketing & Creative Content Assistant to join the Bath office team.

The Marketing & Creative Content Assistant will work closely with the organisational Directors, Business Operations Team and the Business Development department to develop and deliver marketing strategies and campaigns.

Xpedite offer extensive on the job training options and encourage employees to partake in continued professional development.

Both full time (fixed term contract) and part time (up to 3 days per week) applicants will be considered.

As a Marketing & Creative Content Assistant your responsibilities will include:

  • Ongoing development of the Marketing Strategy
  • submitting ideas for marketing programmes designed to enhance and grow the company's brand.
  • Monthly marketing reporting to the Board including analysis of performance of marketing strategy.
  • Implementing marketing campaigns across social media.
  • Content creation for social media channels, the company website and internal platforms.
  • Assist in the management of Xpedite's marketing materials, including the company website and social media platforms.
  • Develop the company's voice and image inline with branding and company goals.
  • Liaising with colleagues and external partners.
  • Responsibility for the company website and LinkedIn profile.
  • Using website and social media analytics to ascertain the effectiveness of campaigns and understand the way users interact with sites.
  • Writing and editing press releases.
  • Attending industry events and conferences.

What are we looking for?


We are looking for someone who is an excellent communicator, creative thinker and who is motivated to drive the marketing department forward.

You will be a communicative and self-assured individual with the confidence and capability to influence and challenge as well as working collaboratively.


Other qualities required for this role include:

  • 2+ years of marketing experience OR marketing related degree looking for first role in marketing.
  • Excellent communication skills, especially written.
  • Have a visual and aesthetic awareness.
  • Ability to be creative and to produce innovative content.
  • A diligent approach to work with an eye for detail.
  • Exceptional organisational and time keeping skills.
  • Ability to prioritise workload.
  • Proactive and conscientious by nature.
  • Excellent attention for detail.
  • Excellent knowledge of social media platforms.
  • Confident using Office 365 programmes, content management platforms and analytical tools.
  • Able to work both individually and as part of a team.
  • Capable of using own initiative.


It should be noted that to be considered for this role, you must be a UK national and eligible to hold UK Security Clearance at SC level.

The majority of our personnel are based in our Bath Head Office; however, we have remote workers who are based in varying sites across the UK.

Part-time hours: 40 per week


Salary:
£23,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
