Job Description:


Mentoring / Coaching the sales team in consultative selling techniques to understand the challenges that our prospects / clients face when trading and be able to provide solutions to each client by articulating how our products and services can best solve the problems they face when running their business.

While being responsible for your own outcomes (in particular, the achievement of your annual sales target) you will have the autonomy to lead the team to prospect and manage the total pipeline in the manner you see as being most effective, while also working collaboratively with the marketing team for demand generation.

Your role is to design, build and lead a team that are able to develop a winning relationship.

You and your team will be the first point of contact with the client for Xplor, therefore, you will be vital in making sure Xplor is the only valued business partner.


  • Lead and develop a world class sales team by setting and monitoring specific OKR's to deliver Xplor growth targets across the Xplor solution portfolio.
  • Have ownership of and drive new business in order to deliver Xplor's annual revenue targets.
  • Responsible for timely submission of information clearly identifying and communicating how Xplor are tracking against Annual revenue targets as required by the UK Commercial Director.
  • Be seen as a thought leader within the Fitness & Wellbeing sector.
  • Build and manage internal and external relationships to ensure effective collaboration with the Xplor leadership team (Marketing, Product, Key Account Management, Implementations etc).
  • Articulate a clear plan to deliver Xplor's GTM strategy by positively influencing key Xplor stakeholders.
  • Identify and execute opportunities for external networking and promotion of Xplor's solution portfolio in collaboration with internal stakeholders (Head of UK Marketing), identifying and delivering a clear ROI.
  • Actively collaborate on Xplor's functional products to support and ensure delivery of revenue growth opportunities.
  • Have a clear understanding of current and future market trends and the impact this will have on the immediate and future product strategy by articulating, across functionality, the need for decisions, projects and planning to ensure the Xplor value proposition is at the forefront of innovation.
  • Have a solution lead approach to any challenges in delivering the annual revenue target.

Qualifications:


  • Minimum of 5 years' experience leading teams and working within a solution based sales leader role, selling in a B2B environment.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets through a range of product offerings (e.g. software, payments & valueadded services)
  • Extensive enterprise sales experience in a complex business environment, ideally including selling of SaaS services to the C-Suite
  • Experience in introducing and onboarding new customers and building successful relationships
  • Fundamental understanding of software and payments products
  • Preferable experience from the Health & Fitness market
  • Excellent communication and listening skills
  • Ability to identify opportunities and close deals through a "win / win" outcome
  • Ability to ask probing questions to understand the needs of the customer, and then "solution sell" Xplor products.
  • High degree of professionalism
  • Strong desire to succeed, and able to motivate self and colleagues
  • Ability to deal effectively with all types of people and build and maintain successful relationships with key business contacts
  • Effective time management skills, including the ability to direct others to a desired outcome
  • Excellent presentation skills
  • Solid computer skills with ability to use MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Salesforce (or equivalent)
