About the Role:

The Group Practice Manager's role is to support the Director with leading regional offices (ROs), including the main office within their region:

  • Resource the administrative and support teams across the region
  • Manage workflows and turnaround times
  • Client feedback
  • Coordinate and monitor training programmes, CPD and professional exams
  • Centralise AML and Engagement letters
  • Centralise independence and Integrity checks
  • Manage health and safety for offices
  • Liaise with marketing to coordinate and run events
  • Oversee and support project role outs
  • Reports on team performance by RO and hub
  • Liaise with People function for all HR matters across the ROs including the hub
  • Coordinate IT requirements of ROs with central IT
  • Estates management across the Hub
  • Coordinate recruitment requirements across the Hub with central recruitment
  • Provide compliance support and link to central compliance

About You:


  • Strong leadership skills
  • A good understanding of digital developments in the accountancy industry and IT systems capability
  • Ability and experience in staff management including development of staff
  • Have good processes and working practices in their existing role
  • Strong project management skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure and manage sensitive and confidential information
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with strong attention to detail
  • Ability to coordinate a range project lines across multiple locations
