Job Title:
Catering Assistant

Trust:
Mid Yorkshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust

Location:
Pinderfields Hospital, Aberford Rd, Wakefield, WF1 4DG

Shift Pattern:
Monday - Sunday 37.5hrs/week.

06:00-14:00 & 10:00-19:00 on a rota basis

Pay:
£11.45 per hour plus enhanced pay for weekends and bank holidays

About this role:

NHS Professionals require two pro-active and hardworking Catering Assistants to work within the catering department at Pinderfields Hospital.

We have three ongoing opportunities available for Catering Assistants at Pinderfields Hospital.

Catering Assistants are responsible for assisting in the food production processes in NHS hospitals and other services making sure our patients and staff have highly nutritious, high-quality food.

What you'll be responsible for:

Washing the returning food trolleys, crockery, and cutlery.
Any general cleaning that is needed.

You'll have the following skills/experience:

Experience in a similar role
Food Safety L2 OR Food Hygiene Certificate (mandatory)
Food hygiene knowledge
A good understanding of spoken and written English.
Experience in a similar role
