MAC Systems Ltd is a small business in Wellingborough, Northamptonshire. We are professional, agile, and our goal is to manufacture steel and aluminium gates.

Responsibilities:

• Fabricate and assemble metal structures and equipment using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment.
• Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, or product specifications to determine the sequence of operations.
• Measure and mark dimensions on metal pieces to ensure accurate fabrication.
• Cut, shape, and bend metal pieces using shears, saws, or torches.
• Weld or join metal pieces together using various welding techniques such as stick welding.
• Inspect fabricated products for quality and accuracy.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.

Experience:

• Previous experience in metal fabrication and welding.
• Proficient in the use of power tools and hand tools.
• Knowledge of sheet metal fabrication techniques.
• Strong welding skills, including stick welding.
• Ability to read blueprints and interpret technical drawings.
• Basic math skills for measuring and calculating dimensions.

Skills:

• Mechanical knowledge for understanding equipment functionality.
• Proficiency in using power tools for cutting, shaping, and bending metal pieces.
• Welding skills to join metal pieces together securely.
• Knowledge of sheet metal fabrication techniques for accurate fabrication.
• Basic math skills for measuring and calculating dimensions accurately.
• Ability to fabricate and assemble metal structures according to specifications.
• Proficient in using hand tools for various fabrication tasks.

Salary:
£12.00-£17.00 per hour
