As a
Deputy Clinical Manager you will have previous experience in a similar setting as a Registered Nurse, and have excellent knowledge in healthcare and managing people.

You will be leading the nursing team and coordinating the wards, ensuringprocedures are being followed and a safe environment is maintained.

You will have the responsibility of organising shifts, on-call rotas, managing the ward budgets, and will be an integral member of the team; offering your peers on-going guidance and training to ensure they have the necessary support system and skillset.


Your
Deputy Clinical Manager Responsibilities:


  • Managing and training of junior and nurse staff.
  • Lead in organisational clinical and nursing audit programmes.
  • Discussing health concerns with patients; reviewing patient concerns with the multidisciplinary team as necessary.
  • Acting in a professional advisory role to staff providing supervision and guidance, monitoring, and evaluating their performance on a continuing basis
  • Undertaking necessary performance measures such as audits, reviews, and
Patient /staff surveys to ensure compliance with internal, NMC and healthcare best practice guidelines.

  • Assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care programmes
To be successful as a
Deputy Clinical Manager, you will have:

  • RGN Qualification
  • Experience of working similar environment
  • Relevant sufficient post registration experience.
  • Previous experience (>2 years) of provider management
  • Coordination in both clinical complex operational environments.
  • Previous people management experience
  • Track record of contributing to and supporting successful change initiatives/projects/programmes
  • Experience of engaging with and influencing internal and external organisations at many levels
