Compliance Audit - up to £33k - Support attaining ICA Accreditation - Hybrid - Surrey based.
Global energy company looking for Compliance and Audit role for their Surrey based office.
Part of the Audit & Compliance function reporting to the Head of Audit & Compliance.

Extensive liaison and collaboration with key stakeholders around the businesswith specific responsibility for key elements of the Audit & Compliance Program.

The purpose of this role is to support the Head of Audit & Compliance and the Director, Central Services in all audit and compliance matters.

The role will have delegated managementresponsibilities for key areas of the company Audit and Compliance Program.

The direct results expected of this position will be the _delivery of compliance Audits in line with the team yearly plans, and the delivery of general compliance improvement activity, in order to identify and reduce the compliance risks that the company is exposed to.

Day to day management of Audit and Compliance activity as part of the Audit & Compliance function. Taking direct responsibility for elements of the company Audit and Compliance Program, as directed by the Head of Audit & Compliance
Develop personal and professional attributes to meet current and future needs and be supportive in assisting other areas of the business to achieve their targets.
Provide Compliance guidance and support for company, including working with all levels of the business to help company to manage the compliance risks it is exposed to.
Delivering audit and improvement activity across the company in line with the requirements of the company Audit and Compliance Plan, including engaging in and directly managing audit or compliance work including:
Managing the independent activity related to UKMs SOX obligations including delivering testing, updates to tests and Raise management.
Managing the audit and accreditation processes for ISO14001 and ISO9001, including legislation updates, environmental targets and internal audits
Reviewing, maintaining and continue to develop a transparent Delegation of Authorities assess relevance within a continually moving business
Managing various compliance requirements from the company, including the maintenance of the gifts/hospitalities register, probing the business for information on such activities
To work with the Head of Audit & Compliance in managing activities and initiatives related to the development of a compliance focused culture within UKM, including the Compliance Forum, developing and delivering compliance training, staff communicationsetc.
Maintain a positive and effective close working relationship with the Compliance, Internal Control and Audit functions in London and Paris and with all external auditors.
To act as a focal point for the organisation and planning of all external audits of the company.
Ensure that all accepted internal and external audit recommendations are documented and work with the business to ensure they are delivered as appropriate.

To be successful within this role the job holder must be able to work independently and to communicate effectively at all levels, including board members internally and externally.

They must be of an ethical character, performing duties honestly, but mustbe able to be objective. A minimum of two years strong commercial and financial experience, preferably within an audit function.
