We're looking for an SIA Licenced officer to start immediately with us, supporting the operation at our clients site in Thirsk, working Monday to Friday


Responsibilities:


  • Booking vehicles on and off site maintaining accurate records of routes and vehicles movement's
  • Control of ingress and egress of vehicles to site
  • Control of staff access and egress to site maintaining accurate logs of contractors, visitors and agency staff
  • Monitoring of access control and CCTV systems to control visitors to site and maintain a secure facility
  • Respond to emergencies, following correct procedures
  • Complete searches of persons, vehicles and property to ensure compliance with site security policies to reduce theft
  • Meet and greet visitors and manage the gatehouse operation effectively

Person specification:


  • Ability to work within a team or alone as appropriate
  • Strong written, verbal communication and organisational skills are essential
  • Must be flexible and reliable
  • Ability to accurately record incidents as they occur
  • A calm demeanor to deal with difficult and conflictive situations
  • Have excellent customer service skills and basic PC literacy


While previous experience is preferred, it's not essential as full training & support will be given to the successful applicant.


Job Types:

Salary:
£10.42 per hour
