Garden Trends is a multi-channel retailer in the garden and leisure industry, selling barbecues, garden furniture, and seasonal products. Our business is generated through our retail showrooms and online sales using many suppliers with a large product range.

We're looking for an experienced Warehouse Operative to join our Team at our Head Office in
Watlington, North of Henley, Oxfordshire
You'll be working in safe, but busy fast paced warehouse environment, working 40 hours a week, Monday to Friday.

We are proud of our reputation and you will be responsible for ensuring that our standards and values are maintained.


This is a very physical role and requires a lot of manual lifting of large heavy items of garden furniture items.


Duties include:


  • Assisting with the daily picking of customer orders and processing
  • Ensuring all goods are picked for dispatch according to the picking procedure
  • Wrapping pallets of goods ready for despatch
  • Ensure correct labelling of all orders for despatch
  • Loading and unloading containers of products
  • To help replenish the Warehouse as and when required, ensuring stock is always available for picking
  • Ensure all despatch vehicles are loaded correctly and on time

It does not take into account every aspect of the job because of the areas of flexibility, which the job holder may be required to perform.


The individual:


  • Proven experience in warehouse would be an advantage but not essential
  • Flexible and adaptable in a fastpaced environment
  • Ability to move large bulky boxes in a safe manner
  • Highly organised
  • Selfmotivated with a 'can do' attitude
  • Hardworking and able to work to set deadlines
  • Professional, positive, organised and enthusiastic approach
  • Able to work as part of a team and on own initiative

Salary:
£10.50-£12.50 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
