Apprentice Welder:

Full time

Trant Engineering Limited is a multi-discipline Engineering & Construction company, with offices and projects throughout the UK and Overseas.

We have a number of different divisions, including Energy, Oil & Gas, Process & Water, International and Control & Automation.


Our Offsite Manufacture & Assembly team are a specialised service with a primary focus on identifying, designing and manufacturing innovative offsite solutions within a highly controlled workshop environment.

We are currently looking for a Welding Apprentice to join our team based at our head office in Totton.

The successful applicant will learn welding on a variety of items, from pipework to structural steelwork. With time you will also be involved in installation works on site.


You will be enrolled on an NVQ level 3 welding and fabrication course at a local college and attend on day release.


Applicants should:


  • Have a genuine interest in developing a career in Welding and Fabrication
  • Be reliable and punctual
  • Have a good awareness of health and safety
  • Have a real desire to learn
We are looking for a motivated individual who is ready to start their career with our business.

Experience in construction or welding is not necessary - We will provide all the training and support you need.
