An excellent opportunity has arisen at our
Gluten Free site, Butlerfield Industrial Estate, Bonnyrigg, EH19 for a rotating day shift/back shift Bakery Operator.

Shift Alternating 06:00-14:00 or 14:00-22:00 Monday to Friday

Rate of pay £13.22 progressing to £14.84 (including shift allowance) once trained, plus benefit package

Job description

Producing mixes in accordance with the recipe sheet
Ensuring required records are completed accurately
To competently operate food manufacturing equipment.
Ensure compliance with Every Day Quality processes.
Carry out and record quality checks' ensuring appropriate action is taken when parameters are out of spec.
Complete necessary computer / paperbased documentation.
Take personal responsibility for health, safety and working environment.
Maintain high standard of hygiene and housekeeping.
To attend to basic equipment nonconformance/breakdown.
Build pallets of biscuits according to different pallet specification.
Includes some manual lifting
