Receptionist/Administrator

Overview:

Our client is a private dental clinic in Edinburgh with an exceptional reputation that specialises in complex dentistry. They are looking for a warm, friendly, and professional Receptionist/Administrator to join their front office team.


Benefits and pay range:

- £excellent hourly rate dependent on experience. Full time, Permanent role

  • 8:00am 6:30pm over four weekdays
- £25 per month towards a gym membership + your birthday off


Responsibilities and Duties:


  • Give a warm welcome as you efficiently and professionally check in patients and update records accordingly
  • Scan and store medical records
  • Answer the switchboard, screening and directing calls
  • Develop a knowledge and understanding of treatments and procedures offered, alongside billing and accounts
  • Liaise with dentists, dental laboratories and other clients/suppliers
  • Other administration duties

Requirements and Qualifications:


Essential:


  • Professional appearance, including a warm and friendly demeanour
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Attention to detail, strong problem skills and a passion for professional development
  • A strong work ethic of professionalism, discretion, and empathy, especially when working under pressure
  • Experience with booking and invoicing systems, ideally within the hospitality or medical industries
  • Works well with other team members
