Are you a registered Pharmacy Technician looking to expand your leadership skills and seeking to further develop your career?

We are looking for a highly motivated Pharmacy Technician to supervise the day-to-day workings of the main Dispensary and assist the Dispensary Manager in managing the team and subsequent training within it

Applicants must have excellent communication and people skills, be able to manage difficult situations, be empathetic, flexible and able to work under pressure.

The ability to prioritise work and use own initiative is vital.

Provide daily support to the team on shift in the busy Dispensary environment, keeping the workload spread across the team evenly and in priority order.

They should ensure that the work is being both dispensed and checked in safe and timely manner.

Organise, and escalate in exceptionally busy times, extra staff levels for dispensary to ensure patients receive the right medicines safely and at the right time

Deliver or delegate training, liaising with Education and Training Programme Directors to ensure training plans are being followed successfully.

Escalation of concerns regarding trainees or training to the appropriate Education Programme Director or Line Manager at an early stage.

Sign off of official documentation for training purposes.

Registration with the GPhC is compulsory
