Surrey County Council is on an ambitious and exciting journey and we are looking for a Commissioning Support Officer to join our team to help facilitate and implement change.
This role will work on the recommissioning of Early Help and Domestic Abuse services and will help to collaboratively develop and implement change across the partnership to improve outcomes for Surrey's children and families.
As a valued member of the team, you will be using your proven administrative skills to support the team and its partners in:
- Administrative tasks such as arranging meetings, setting agendas and writing up notes
- Support commissioning and project management activities such as contract management, service redesign, service specifications and the implementation of new services
- Carrying out research, analysing data from multiple sources, preparing reports to help inform recommendations and influence change
- Supporting the team in engagement activities that will contribute to codesigning, coproducing and developing provision, outcomes and indicators with survivors, residents, service users and multiagency partners
This role will provide you with the opportunity to further develop your commissioning and project management skills within a supportive and friendly team environment.
Here are the qualities, skills, and experiences we are looking for in our new Commissioning Support Officer**:
- Excellent administrative, organisational and IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with both internal and external partners
- Strong analytical skills with experience of carrying out data analysis from multiple sources, reportwriting and problemsolving skills
- Ability to plan and prioritise workloads and the use of initiative to meet the needs of stakeholders (both internal and external)

An enhanced DBS 'Disclosure and Barring Service' check for regulated activity (formerly known as CRB) and the Children's and Adults' Barred List checks will be required for this role.
