Saint-Gobain HR and Payroll Shared Service Centre are looking for a
Payroll Specialist to join our Team.

In the role of
Payroll Specialist, you will be involved in one or more of the
Saint-Gobain payrolls which span multiply payment dates including weekly and monthly pay frequencies.

The primary objective of this role is to ensure our people at
Saint-Gobain are paid on time and accurately. Where issues arise, they are dealt with quickly, correctly, and efficiently.

Saint-Gobain in the UK and Ireland includes some of the best-known and respected companies in the construction sector including British Gypsum, Weber, Isover, Glassolutions, Saint-Gobain PAM, and Ecophon. What you will be doing:

Pay employees on time and accurately on the specified date, in line with contractual terms and payment frequencies
Ensure processes and procedures are adhered to, and maintained, in line with the business controls, internal and external audit procedures
Keep up to date with changes in legislation and best practice to ensure a professional service is always provided

Requirements What we're looking for**:

***- Knowledge of manual and computerized payrolls, to include all pay methods and frequencies

The ability to work to strict and tight deadlines
Knowledge of UK income tax and National Insurance calculations
Analytical and problemsolving skills
Demonstrate high levels of confidentiality, honesty, and integrity
