Description
In September 2015 we opened our brand new secondary section. In May 2018 our school was judged by OFSTED to be outstanding. In September 2021 we opened our Sixth Form.

We are now looking for a positive, dynamic and resilient Head of Computer Science to join our fantastic team in our secondary section.
We believe in loving and cherishing our students, we also have the same ethos for staff. We have well-being strategy where we ensure we do everything we can to support and develop our staff.

Some of the examples are:

  • We have an active wellbeing groups
  • We have free tea and coffee for all staff
  • Place2B which is counselling service for all staff
  • Supportive middles leaders and leadership team
The growth mind-set underpins everything we do. We do not believe that some pupils are bright and that others are not. We believe in the limitless capacity for everyone to achieve great things. We believe that what we become and what we achieve comes from great teaching, hard work and fantastic support. We do not allow it to come from your background.

We are looking for a Head of Computer Science who shares this mindset and who is passionate and motivated by these beliefs.

Our pupils make rapid progress and achieve academic excellence in an environment of love and care. Our school is a strong family where expectations are high, values are positive and children are treasured. Our goal is to equip our pupils with the knowledge, skills and character to lead successful lives.

Our teachers get to know the pupils as individuals and build meaningful relationships that last. We ensure that all of our pupils feel they belong. We explicitly teach our pupils to live by positive shared values and to hold these deep in their hearts. We are a Rights Respecting Gold accredited school. This creates our wonderful learning environments and great behaviour. We offer a wide range of innovative clubs.

We maintain a great work-life balance.

An equal opportunities employer.
