Junior Stock Administrator

Salford Quays

Salary:
£20,000 - £22,000

Hours:
Mon - Thurs 9am - 5.30pm, Fri 9am - 4.15pm

Hybrid working, currently 2-3 days a week in the office
Working for an established marketing/creative company within the promotional merchandise arena based at Salford Quays. Market leaders in their field, they deal with some of the world's largest brands.
With global offices, my client is looking for a JuniorStock Administrator to join their vibrant team.


Duties

  • Working on a number of brands and joining a team where you will be responsible for managing fast moving stock ranges.
  • Reporting directly to the Team Manager you will be responsible for:
  • Ensuring optimum stock levels
  • Placing purchase orders and ensuring timely delivery of stock.
  • You will liaise with account managers, goods in and EU suppliers negotiating prices and lead times
  • Handling any stockrelated queries.
  • Your key accountabilities will be to support the sales process by proactively analysing stock levels to ensure adequate stock is held thus improving service levels to the customer, monitoring product movement so that slower products are kept in lower quantitiesand therefore increasing productivity and cost reduction.
  • You will also closely monitor and report any slow moving stocks so that appropriate action can be taken quickly and effectively.

  • Effective time management and good communication skills will be crucial as will a high level of resilience and confidence.
  • Have a willingness to learn.
  • IT skills will be desirable, particularly focusing on Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong organisation skills
  • Numerical skills with a keen eye for detail
