Overview
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced, enthusiastic, and passionate Support Executive to join the Linnaeus Group.

The Support Executive will be responsible for working closely with up to 3 referral centres to drive top line business growth and local referring vet engagement.

Alongside this the support executive will play a leading role in the organisation and logistics of the referral centre CPD events.

Working for one of the UK's leading and rapidly growing veterinary groups, we are looking to expand our team to support an ever changing and demanding set of business needs.

Main purpose & goals

  • The role requires the job holder to effectively work in a largely remote capacity supporting up to 3 referral hospitals. The role will have a direct line report into a Senior Business Relationship Manager.
  • The role will be working closely with your designated hospital Business Relationship Manager, Hospital Director and Marketing Manager to provide business relationship plans for the practice to align with the business objectives to drive top line growth. This role will target our lower referring accounts to build their knowledge and awareness of the local referral centres.
  • The support executive will work with the Business Relationship Manager to develop a plan of how to engage with targeted local veterinary practices, highlighting the centres area of expertise through organisation of CPD events and learning about new qualitybased innovations in specialist care. The Support Executive would also support the BRM with open days and client awareness days to drive increased engagement. This will involve some travel to the referral hospitals.
  • The role will build up core relationships with as many local practices as possible and provide assets and support to them where needed, aligned to the referral centre. Where applicable the support executive will pass on successful leads to the BRM for increased engagement.
  • The primary objective of the support executive role (working in collaboration with the BRMs) is to grow new, and retain current, referrals to the centre and to gain feedback from the veterinary practices on what services or opportunities could be improved for them to consider referring if they are not currently. The core focus of the role is to drive top line growth for the business in line with budgetary targets that have been set for the year.

Key responsibilities

  • Ensure Primary Care Vets are aware of the work of the Referral Centre such that the referrals to the centre increase in line with expectation.
  • Using a defined target list of accounts created by the BRM team, build core relationships with referring vets and their support team as appropriate.
  • Develop a regular feedback process to understand what could be improved at the referral centre or what increased awareness is required to drive increased numbers of referrals. Support the distribution of a referral vet feedback survey to targeted practices. Review the feedback using reports at our disposal.
  • Ensure that the targeted referring vets are clear of all specialists and specialisms within the referral centre and any new specialists that arrive.
  • Ensure that the practices are clear on all CPD provided and the details of this. Work with the Marketing Manager and BRM to ensure that there is enough CPD in the plan to reflect and showcase all the specialisms. Support all CPD activities liaising with on site clinicians and venues where applicable for successful running of planned CPD. Where required, ensure that all CPD is on the website and that practices are clear what content and information they can find on the site.
  • Ensure that all activity has clear objectives and can be measured to understand ROI.
