Sporty Scholars is seeking a Payroll Administrator to join our fast growing company. We are seeking an individual that can bring their expertise in this department with a strong attention to detail. This role will also be responsible for inputting invoice data on Quickbooks and distributing remittances.


Responsibilities:

• Process and manage payroll for employees accurately and on time. You will process payslips through Quickbooks software so will need proficient knowledge in deductions, statutory pay etc... As well as process and distribute P60 and P45 when and as required
• Distribute payslips
• Handle payroll inquiries and resolve any discrepancies or issues. Advise directors on the best solutions or processes for payroll.
• Projecting quarterly wages and HMRC Tax & NIC deductioins payable. Generate payroll reports for management as needed.
• Collaborate with Operations department to ensure accurate employee data in the payroll system. Ensure new starter forms are collected and submitted on time.

Qualifications:

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
• Proven experience as a Payroll Administrator or similar role
• Strong knowledge of payroll processes, regulations, and best practices
• Proficient in using payroll software: QuickBooks
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and calculations
• Ability to analyze data and identify discrepancies
• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with employees regarding payroll matters

Note:
Experience with accounts payable or accounting software is also relevant for this role.
