Support Worker in CB23

Rate:

£14 - £16 depending on experience and suitability

About the service user
Support required for a 19 year old transgender person who has Autism and some mental health difficulties.


V's favourite pastime is gaming, she also enjoys animation as well as attending youth club, Life Craft and Kite Trust.


Hours and rate of Pay 12.75 hours per week - days to be confirmed hours include morning, evening and weekends.


Rate:
£14 - £16 depending on experience and suitability

Enhanced DBS clearance is essential

What you would be doing
V requires prompts with most daily living tasks and developing some independence would be really positive.


Supporting and encouraging V with life skills such as household chores, money management when shopping, learning to use public transport reading timetable and riding the bus.

Accompanying V to various clubs, providing encouragement in social situations to build on communication skills and relationships with peers.

The person I would like

You will have experience of supporting others in the community & some knowledge of Autism and the challenges it can bring.


Someone who is kind and who will build trust and understanding in the role, someone who is interactive and encouraging in order to improve and develop skills.

Someone who demonstrates good timekeeping who is reliable and able to commit to the role.
