About the role:


This is a new role within our Dundee site and will operate as part of the regional Global People and Performance team supporting the full employee cycle.

You will be accountable for all UK tactical day-to-day HR activities and will support the Head of People and Performance (P&P) UK and EU with colleague initiatives in Spain and Germany.


You will work closely with the P&P Coordinator and other global P&P team members ensuring we give our colleagues the best possible People service experience.

You will strategically contribute to people and business goals, working on global engagement, supporting our colleagues with wellbeing, and other people initiatives.


Every day is different, we'd ask you to

  • Provide advice, guidance, create and deliver informative training sessions on a range of topics including, but not limited to, sickness absence management, recruitment, employee relations, change management and performance improvement.
  • Help to identify HR needs, gaps and opportunities supporting business objectives, and enabling continuous improvements.
  • Advise and support managers in recruitment activities, ensuring resourcing plans, job descriptions and adverts are created to source, attract, and appoint the best, diverse talent (internal and external).
  • Consider strategic workforce plans, improving capability, leadership development and performance.
  • Drive talent management initiatives including employee onboarding, continuous performance evaluation, career development and succession planning.
  • Oversee data and processes in relation to new hires, terminations, and employee changes in multiple systems for payroll, benefits, onboarding, immigration etc.
  • Support people initiatives within regional functions, offering advice and demonstrating a connected approach across the wider business.
  • Monitor, review, and update people policies confirming they are in line with current legislation, and ensuring updates are communicated effectively.
  • Act as values champion driving engagement initiatives across the business, keeping our teams updated by posting regularly within 'My Argenta', our intranet site.
  • Promote to foster a positive work culture and engage employee satisfaction.
  • Provide leadership on continuous development to attract, retain and develop colleagues.
  • Develop systems and processes providing people metrics.

Who we're looking for:

You will hold passion for the people experience, and CIPD Level 7 qualification or equivalent.

You hold strong UK employment law understanding and have a willingness to extend your knowledge to day-to-day employment legislation within Spain and Germany.

You enjoy working within a fast-paced HR environment.

Solution focused you are genuinely interested in providing the best customer service to your colleagues, creative in your approach you listen, lead and coach.

You are a credible HR professional and are experienced liaising and influencing stakeholders at all levels. You also recognise the importance of accurate and timely administration skills, taking pride in delivering high quality work.

You will be comfortable using Microsoft Office programs and can evidence how you use these programs when completing HR project work.

You will have used an HRIS previously.


We like to be organised and want you to naturally show that in your approach to managing your workload and be comfortable with working to strict deadlines.

It's a great team so your teamworking and communication skills will be good.

As this role will also involve contact across multiple business, you'll need to be flexible and adapt to local requirements, whilst respecting cultural differences.
