The newly established Digital Assets team is responsible for defining LSEG's Digital Assets strategy, identifying cross-divisional alignments, and implementing the vision.

In addition, they identify and assess opportunities to accelerate LSEG's presence, including partnerships, and M&A, whilst also facilitating and supporting the operational cadence of Digital Assets as LSEG, as well as the development and assessment of commercial opportunities through to project approval and funding.

The team engages with customers and the broader Digital Assets ecosystem to ensure that strategies are customer-centric and focused on solving client problems.


We are seeking a Senior Associate to join the team and support in the development and evolution of LSEG's Group Digital Assets strategy, as well as the ongoing tracking of performance against Digital Assets objectives and supporting initiatives.


The role will work closely with cross-functional teams, including Capital Markets, Post-Trade, and Data & Analytics business leadership, as well as relevant functions, including Technology, Strategy, and Sales to deliver innovative and outstanding products to our clients.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support with articulation of LSEG's Digital Assets strategy within the Group, with senior leadership, and externally
  • Review and refresh LSEG's Digital Assets strategy as appropriate based on changing market, customer, and competitor dynamics
  • Partner with the Division's business leaders and customers to define market opportunities, business strategies, and specific critical initiatives in support of ExCo's strategic objectives in Digital Assets
  • Canvas the market for partnership and/ or investment opportunities in Digital; support with the management of the Digital inorganic growth pipeline, including search and selection, in collaboration with business leadership, Group M&A and Group Strategy to support the execution of the Digital strategy
  • Maintain close working relationships with Digital Assets SteerCo, Working Group, and business leaders on an ongoing basis to assess the delivery and efficiency of existing Digital Assets initiatives and develop new initiatives and approaches where vital
  • Depending on experience and skills, potential to own projects endtoend
KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS

  • Ability to think critically and creatively, delivering high quality analysis with strong strategic and commercial understanding
  • Ability to develop commercial strategies in collaboration with businesses and other key collaborators in a dynamic, multinational environment
  • Excellent written, verbal interpersonal and communication skills, and the ability to work effectively with all levels, including senior leadership
  • Excellent at building and maintaining relationships with a wide network of internal and external collaborators, and the ability to influence at all levels across divisions and functions
  • Excellent documentation skills and the ability to create high quality materials to facilitate decision making at the business leadership level
  • Educated to degree level or equivalent, with a Master's degree (MBA or equivalent) preferred but not crucial

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

  • Minimum of 2 years strategy consulting, investment banking or corporate strategy experience (Senior Analyst/ Senior Associate level)
  • Some exposure to Financial Services or Market Infrastructure space preferable, but not required
