Design & Production Intern (Dips - Placement Year) - Islington, United Kingdom - Studio Pia Ltd

We offer internships to current, under-grad degree students on a DiPS placement year (min 3-4 months) on a part-time or full-time basis (minimum of 4 days per week).

As part of a small team, our interns will get a great insight into running a small, fast-growing fashion brand, assisting the design and production team in some of the following areas:

• Garment cutting and sewing
• Pattern cutting and grading
• Sample making
• Garment fitting
• Quality control
• Compiling/updating tech packs
• Fabric yields and garment costing
• Sourcing
• Trend, consumer and competitor research
• Assisting with events, shoots and meetings
• General studio upkeep and admin

We are looking for students with the following qualities:

• Fashion or contour design course
• Passion for creative lingerie
• Willing and keen to learn
• Genuine interest in the technical side of product development
• Good initiative
• Organised and meticulous work approach
• Advocate for sustainability

Travel expenses within London and lunch covered.
