Description
Robert Half are currently working with a bank based in Central London helping them source a Financial Controller. £500 - £600 per day. This has the potential to convert to a permanent position.


Role
As Financial Controller you shall be managing the work of 2 qualified accountants and the outsourced accounting team.

Your main responsibilities will include

  • Review of the statutory accounts and associated notes for all of the entities
  • Review of consolidated management accounts and board reports
  • Intercompany reconciliations with overseas service providers
  • Managing the outsourced finance team who perform the financial control function for the Bank.
  • Preparation and submition of regulatory returns; including ICAAP, ILAAP and Recovery Plan
  • Preparation of regular balance sheet and P&L forecasts; lead the Bank's process for the development of the Medium Term Plan (MTP) and budget
  • Develop and implement business performance management processes, for example customer and product profitability

Profile

Required Experience and Skills:


  • Fully qualified accountant
  • IFRS knowledge desirable
  • 3+ years post qualified experience with relevant finance and accounting experience; financial services industry experience preferred
  • Advanced Excel skills, including experience with macros VLOOKUP, pivot tables, and charts preferred
  • Regulatory reporting experience

Salary & Benefits

Rate:
£500 - £600 per day via Umbrella company.

The salary range/rates of pay is dependent upon your experience, qualifications or training.
