Day Shift: 3 nights on, 4 nights off covering Monday-Saturday (Monday-Wednesday or Thursday-Saturday) 12-hour shifts
18:00 - 06:00

Previous experience in an FMCG/ Food Manufacturing environment, coupled with a proven track record of successfully operating machinery, will set you up for success in this role.

We are based in Heckington (Sleaford) and Hull and we are part of the Zertus UK & Ireland Snacking & Chocolate Market Unit partnered with other food manufacturers across the country.

Responsibilities:

Play a crucial role in mastering the safe, efficient, and precise operation of our stateoftheart factory machines, including industrial roasting/frying machines.
Thoroughly conduct process control checks on machinery to maintain optimal performance and quality standards.
Showcase meticulous attention to detail and organizational skills by accurately and neatly completing various essential paperwork with finesse.
Collaborate with our skilled Engineering team to promptly report any breakdowns, ensuring uninterrupted production and upholding the highest standards of efficiency.
Proactively collaborate with our dedicated quality teams and supervisors to promptly identify and resolve any anomalies encountered while operating equipment, ensuring impeccable product quality.
Take pride in upholding the utmost safety, legality, and exceptional standards of our cuttingedge production facility.

Qualifications:

Demonstrate your unwavering commitment to food safety with prior training such as Food Safety Level 2, and further enhance your expertise through our comprehensive training program at Humdinger.
Showcase your formal basic Mechanical appreciation or your genuine passion for machinery, and play a vital role in our innovative manufacturing processes.
Demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills, ensuring precise completion and timely signoff of essential paperwork.
Bring your diverse experience in factory environments, including roles such as Production Operative, Line Leader, Machine Operative extraordinaire, General Operative, Machine Minder, and Line Technician.
