Position Overview

SEF is recruiting for a Mechanical Multiskilled Operator to carry out reactive repairs and water hygiene works in accordance with L8.

Responsibilities

Delivery of reactive maintenance to all building plant, equipment, and systems, to meet and exceed expectations, and agreed service level agreements.
Carry out reactive maintenance to all client assets which may include water hygiene works and associated duties.
To ensure general housekeeping is maintained
Performance and support to minor works activities
Assist other trades in completion of multidisciplinary works
Respond to Building Management System alarms, and effect emergency repairs as needed.
Ensure that Method Statements and Risk Assessments are prepared for all tasks carried out to ensure safe working practices iaw SSoW

Comply with contractual commitments, and site operating processes.

To develop a good working relationship with all members of SEF staff and client's staff especially within team quadrant.
Ensure the provision of a safe & healthy working environment, and ensure compliance with all Company policies and procedures, as well as client site policies, procedures and working arrangements, as required.
Ensure a professional image of SEF is presented to clients and visitors and ensure excellence in customer service is delivered and promoted at all times.
Ensure that professional and technical skills are maintained through a commitment to personal development and lifelonglearning.

What we are looking for

Competitive person in Mechanical Engineering that includes HVAC plant, plumbing systems, heating and hot water systems, and all aspects of pipe work/jointing of all pipework materials maintenance dependant on relevant
General allround knowledge of maintaining Building critical systems, building support systems and their methods of control
Knowledge of BMS and electrical systems would be an advantage
Experience of maintaining high specification plant serving laboratory and office environments
Preferably IOSH Working Safely
Must be able to read M&E drawings
Good Mechanical knowledge
Good communication skills
Calm manner, able to work under pressure
Able to make sound decisions when needed
Able to ascend and descend vertical access equipment
Able to work at heights
A team player, able to work with SEF Services and client's staff of all levels
Additional training will be provided
