This is a pivotal role within the dynamic customer care department where you'll be responsible for the renewal of service contracts and for the scheduling of Engineers to deliver the calibration and service business.
Balancing engineer resource, customerlocation and customer expectation creates a challenging and rewarding role.The customer care department is the central point between customers and our engineering team. You will be part of a department which exists to look after our customers.
Whether renewing a contract, booking an annual service and calibration visit, referringa technical query or confirming a new equipment installation.
In this customer-facing role, you'll build a rapport with our customers and engineers to deliver great customer service.As Support Contracts Executive, you will have the following duties and responsibilities:
- Proactively seeking to win service and calibration new business and renewals
- Providing quotes and information to customers regarding their contract renewals
- Being the main point of contact with the field engineers, scheduling and balancing workloads, liaising frequently with the field engineers and reporting any problems
- Promoting the company's services to new and existing customers
- Booking hotels and making travel arrangements for engineers
- Monitoring your and the department's performance against agreed targets
- General office and administrative duties
- Interacting with customers when they visit
- Be a Customer Champion

Essential for this role:
- Excellent people skills with an engaging telephone manner
- Strong organisation skills and attention to detail
- Lateral thinking and a willingness to take the initiative
- Proficient with Word, Excel and Outlook
- Able to work quickly and accurately
- GCSE English and Mathematics
Desirable:
- A previous customer facing or telesales role
- Experience of delivering to targets and KPIs
- A levels or a degree
