Saw Operator

Are you looking to join a fast paced work environment with a family feel and great progression opportunities?

Immediate start
We are looking for a Plate Saw Operator to join a rapidly growing Manufacturing company in Aston.


Hours:
Day shift, 40hours/week


Location:
Aston, Birmingham


Roles & Responsibilities - What you will be doing:

  • Operating a Plate Saw
  • Read from Engineering Drawings
  • Quality checking finished product
  • Maintaining high quality standards within the department

The above list is not exhaustive. The role may require other general duties not mentioned here.

Requirements - What we need from you:

  • Engineering / Manufacturing background
  • Able to read and use a computer
  • Saw experience (band, plate, circular etc)
  • Extremely high attention to detail
  • Excellent numerical skills
  • Ability to read Engineering drawings

Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent


Salary:
£11.00 per hour


Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday
  • No weekends

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Nechells: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Experience:

- machine operating: 1 year (required)
