The Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced and hands-on Service Engineer to support the installation, commissioning, servicing, and troubleshooting of package sewage treatment plants across the UK.
This is a field-based role ideal for professionals currently working within STP, ETP, or WTP environments who are looking to grow within a sustainability-driven engineering organisation.
Key Responsibilities- Perform routine servicing, maintenance, and repairs of Package STPs
- Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, and process-related faults
- Install and commission new sewage treatment systems in line with UK discharge regulations
- Conduct system checks, performance optimisation, and water quality testing
- Maintain accurate service reports and technical documentation
- Provide on-site technical guidance and operational support to clients
- Ensure strict adherence to UK health, safety, and environmental standards
- Proven experience within wastewater, sewage treatment, or environmental engineering
- Strong technical knowledge of aeration systems, pumps, blowers, motors, and control panels
- NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Mechanical, Electrical, or Environmental Engineering
- Valid UK driving licence (site travel required)
